Ron Paul: Just a Bad Dream?

Ron Paul gave this speech to Congress on the House floor 2 days ago. The first half of it talks about how backwards our current thinking is with the actions being taken by our politicians (which society is generally calling for and supporting). It brought to my mind the warning Isaiah gave in Isaiah 5:20, which reads:

Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

I wish there were more politicians like Ron Paul, who have such clarity and stand on sound principles. Ultimately, I don’t blame our politicians, but ourselves for allowing our politicians to run amok. We have the power and obligation to persuade our representatives to stand up for such principles and should vote them out of office if they refuse.

This man is right on. And until the rest of Washington gets off the band wagon of lineing their pockets with all the money they are getting just to vote in the direction of where the money is coming from, they need to start doing whats right and moral or we and especially our children and grandchildrenwill reap the benefits of all the POOR decisions that are made by SUPPOSEDLY smart people in Washington who only know how to lead in the direction of who has the most money to line their pockets.
